日本NCR 株式会社（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長：マイケル･J・バリエ、以下日本NCR）と株式会社NTTデータ（本社：東京都江東区、代表取締役社長：山下徹、以下NTTデータ）の2社が開発した決済アプリケーション・ソフトウェアが、クレジットカードの国際セキュリティ基準を管理する団体PCI-SSC（Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council）より、共同で国内初のPA-DSS（Payment Application Data Security Standard）（注1）Version 2.0認定を取得いたしました。
今回共同で認定を取得したのは、日本NCRの決済アプリケーション･ソフトウェアNCR Retail Enterprise Solution - ePayment（リテイル・エンタープライズ･ソリューション – イー・ペイメント）とNTTデータが提供するクレジットカードの決済サービス、PastelPort（パステルポート）です。NCR Retail Enterprise Solution – ePayment には、PastelPortと接続する為のソフトウェアが標準で組み込まれているため、POSからPastelPortセンタまで包括的にセキュリティを確保します。
なお、NCR Retail Enterprise Solution – ePaymentは、カード決済に関する部分を独立してパッケージ化しているため日本NCR製のPOSはもとより、NTTデータのPastelPortと接続して他社製のPOSをはじめとする各種カード決済端末にも導入が可能です。また、さまざまな電子マネーの規格にも対応しています。消費者のカード情報漏えいを保護しながら決済手段の充実を図ることによって、より顧客満足度の高いサービスを提供しようとする企業に、積極的に販売を行なってまいります。
※（注1）PA-DSS （Payment Application Data Security Standard） 国際ペイメントブランドを中心に策定された、消費者のクレジットカード情報保護を目的とした情報セキュリティ基準です。 クレジットカード決済アプリケーションを開発・販売する事業者が対象となります。
