アパホテルで100台導入決定、宿泊客のよりスピーディなチェックインを実現

日本NCR株式会社（本社：東京都中央区、社長兼CEO：諸星俊男、以下日本NCR）は、宿泊客のよりスピーディなチェックインを実現するホテル向けセルフチェックイン・チェックアウト端末の機能拡充モデルの本格展開をいたします。その第一弾として、全国に新都市型ホテルをチェーン展開するアパホテル株式会社（本社：東京都港区、代表者：元谷 芙美子）に100台の導入が決定しました。
セルフチェックイン・チェックアウト端末は、従来フロントスタッフが対応していた宿泊客の予約確認・受付などのチェックイン処理や精算を、宿泊客自身が行えるシステムです。宿泊客にはフロントでの待ち時間の短縮、ホテルにはフロント業務の効率化による接客サービスへの重点的人員配備や新たな付加価値サービスの実現が可能となります。
本モデルではタッチパネルを抵抗皮膜方式からアナログ静電容量方式に変更することにより操作性が大幅に向上しました。また、ルームキーの発行といった機能拡張を行なっています。特に、インターネット予約を済ませたホテルの会員顧客がチェックインする際、宿泊カードへの書き込みやルームキーを受け取るなどのフロントスタッフとのやりとりが簡略化されるほか、朝食券やビデオオンデマンドのチケットも購入できます。
日本NCRは、今後一層、ホテルの業務効率化や宿泊満足度の向上を実現するため、積極的に販売活動を展開していきます。
また、本モデルは、2/21（火）～24日（金）に東京ビッグサイトで開催される「第40回 国際ホテル・レストラン・ショー（Hoteres Japan 2012）」にて展示いたします。
