日本NCR 株式会社（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長：諸星俊男、以下日本NCR）は、新大阪の新たなランドマークとなる新大阪阪急ビルに9月21日にオープンした宿泊特化型ホテル「レム新大阪」（運営：阪急阪神第一ホテルグループ）に、キオスク端末によって自動チェックイン・チェックアウトができるシステム「NCR Hotel KIOSK」を導入しました。
「NCR Hotel KIOSK」とは、従来フロントスタッフが対応していた宿泊客の予約確認・受付などのチェックイン処理や精算を、キオスク端末によって宿泊客がセルフサービスするシステムです。宿泊客にはフロントでの待ち時間の短縮、ホテルにはフロント業務の効率化による接客サービスへの重点的人員配備や新たな付加価値サービスの実現が可能となります。
今回導入したシステムは、初めて阪急阪神第一ホテルグループのポイントプログラムに対応します。加えて、阪急阪神グループのSTACIAポイントプログラムにも対応し、宿泊時にポイントが加算されます。また、日本電気株式会社のPMS（Property Management System）NEHOPSのクラウド版に接続し、大手ルームカードキーメーカーのGOAL社のICルームカードキーに対応します。
「レム新大阪」では、NCRのHotel KIOSKの導入により、ホテルスタッフの精算業務に関わる時間を最小限にし、宿泊のお客様への応対時間を増やすことで、お客様により満足いただけるサービスを提供する予定です。今後、阪急阪神第一ホテルグループでは、レム新大阪への導入後、他店舗への展開も検討しています。
