「SS85スリムライン」及び「エンドレス・アイル」販売開始

日本NCR 株式会社（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長：諸星俊男、以下日本NCR）は、小売店舗とオンラインショッピングの融合を実現するO2O（注1）ソリューション、「NCR SelfServ（セルフサーブ）85スリムライン・キオスク端末（以下、NCR SS85）とeコマース・パッケージアプリケーション「エンドレス・アイル」（以下、エンドレス・アイル）の販売を開始します。
「限られた店舗スペースでもオンラインショッピングと同様に豊富な品揃えを実現したい」、「オンライン・店舗という複数の販売チャネルを最大限に生かして顧客の利便性を高めたい」、「顧客の好みやライフスタイルに応じた、よりきめ細かい顧客サービスを提供したい」といった小売業のニーズに応えるのが、本ソリューションです。ハ－ドウェア「NCR SS85」とパッケージアプリケーション「エンドレス・アイル」により構成され、NCR Netkey（注2）（ネットキー）プラットフォームの下で稼働します。
「NCR SS85」は、32インチの縦型ディスプレイを採用し、スマートフォン同様のマルチタッチ機能により直観的な操作を実現します。レシートプリンター、磁気カードリーダー、QRコード対応イメージスキャナーも装備し、スタイリッシュで設置面積の小さいキオスク端末です。また、トラックボールもオプションで取り付け可能なため、車椅子の方にも安心して操作が行えます。
「エンドレス・アイル」は、NCR SS85をeコマース環境での利用を実現するためのパッケージアプリケーションです。店頭で在庫切れとなってしまった商品や小売店の限られたスペースで陳列しきれない色違いやサイズ違いの商品を店舗内に設置されたキオスク端末で検索、クレジットカードによるショッピングも可能です。店舗内の商品情報をはじめ広告や販促情報を提供することで、買物客の店舗内の滞留時間を延ばし、追加の売り上げに繋げることも期待できます。
また、購買実績や嗜好に応じてスマートフォン等のモバイル端末にクーポン等を送信する仕組みと連動させることで顧客の来店を促し、顧客はQRコードをNCR SS85で読み込ませることにより、精算時に自動的に特典を受けることができます。顧客は店頭で実際の商品の質感やサイズを確認し、オンラインショッピングを行い、商品を指定された場所への配送手配も行うことができます。オンライと小売店舗でのショッピングの双方のメリットを生かせるO2Oソリューションです。
