日本NCR株式会社（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長兼CEO：諸星 俊男、以下日本NCR）は、百貨店システム資産の共有化、業務の共通化、サービス利用の共同化を実現するクラウドサービスの提供をしていますが、このたび株式会社プランタン銀座（東京都中央区、代表取締役社長：笹岡 寛、以下プランタン銀座）にて本サービスが採用され、3月1日より稼動いたしました。昨年9月に稼働した山形県の老舗百貨店 大沼に続く第2弾となります。
プランタン銀座では、システムの独自性を追求せず、「ヒト」・「モノ」・「カネ」の経営資源を百貨店の本来業務である「売り方」・「見せ方」・「品揃え」に集中することを目的に導入しました。プランタン銀座の笹岡社長は、次のようにコメントしています。
「本サービスの採用に至った主な理由は、以下の点が挙げられます。①既に他の百貨店で稼動実績のあるシステムがベースなので運用に信頼性があり、また、日本NCRによる導入時のプロジェクト推進とその後のサポート体制も充実している。②複数百貨店での共同利用を前提としており、税制改正等将来的なシステム改修負荷が軽減できる。③共同利用センターでのデータ管理や通信回線の冗長性確保等、災害にも強いシステムである。今後は、まず販売データの提供方法改善により分析業務の深化と効率化を進めます。同時に顧客購買データの一元管理や購買分析に基づく重点顧客へのアプローチを強化し、顧客サービスの拡充を図るとともに収益の拡大を目指します。」
本クラウドサービスは、日本NCRが長年携わった百貨店業務システムの構築および運用実績を活かして、サービスの導入から利用開始後の運用管理、運用支援まで一括して請け負います。利用いただくシステムはPOS売上／ポイント管理を始め、仕入／棚卸／売掛金／買掛金／管理会計等の基幹業務、商品／顧客情報分析を含む百貨店業務に必要な基本機能を揃えており、利用システム範囲は各社の要件に合わせて選択可能です。「IT費用削減と経費の平準化」、「人材有効活用」、「業務の共通化」を達成でき、さらなる事業の発展に貢献できるシステムです。日本NCRでは、単独でのシステム投資・維持に課題を抱える百貨店各社に対して、積極的にクラウドサービス導入・運営を支援してまいります。
