店舗での売上登録、棚卸等の業務効率化に加え、万引き防止も実現

日本NCR（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長兼CEO：諸星俊男、以下日本NCR）の提供するクラウド型RFID店舗オペレーションシステムが、国内大手アパレル専門店の株式会社シップス（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役：三浦 義哲、以下シップス）にて採用されました。2014年春出店が決定したシップスの新業態店舗での試験導入により、店舗における売上登録、棚卸、入荷検品、出荷、防犯等の業務効率化の実現に向けて実証を行い、2～3年後にシップス全店への導入を目指します。
本システムを導入することによりシップスでは、店頭での会計業務の際、商品値札のバーコード1点ずつの読み取りが不要になり、RFID値札一括読み取りにより大幅な会計処理の効率化によりレジ待ちを解消し顧客サービスの充実、販売機会ロスの防止を図ります。また、店舗における棚卸業務や商品の入出荷検品業務など、RFID値札一括読み取りにより大幅な業務効率化を実現し店舗スタッフの満足度の向上や接客時間の拡大を実現します。RFID値札は万引き防止タグの役割も兼ねており、従来の防犯タグの取付け、取り外しを含めた業務の効率化及びコストの削減が図れます。
日本NCRのクラウド型RFID店舗オペレーションシステムは、日鉄住金物産株式会社、ナクシス株式会社、株式会社サトー、ミカサ商事株式会社、シグマ株式会社各社協力の下、POSターミナルに接続されるRFIDのリーダー/ライター、入出荷・棚卸用のハンディ端末、防犯向けゲート、クラウド上のRFID管理サービスで構成されます。既に構築されている基幹・業務系システムやPOSシステムの大幅なシステム変更をすることなく導入が可能となります。
