NCR、セルフレジ市場で引き続き世界シェア1位 RBR調査レポート「Global EPOS and Self-Checkout 2014」

NCRコーポレーション(NYSE:NCR)は、金融ソリューション等のコンサルティングを手掛けるRBR(Retail Banking Research)社の調査レポート「Global EPOS and Self-Checkout 2014」において、引き続きセルフレジの世界最大のサプライヤーであると認定されたことを発表いたします。

同調査報告書によると、2013年のセルフレジの世界出荷台数は前年比24%増の33,000台と急速に拡大しています。NCRは、セルフレジ出荷台数でトップであり、71%のシェアを占めることが報告されています。

同調査は世界52ヶ国の流通テクノロジー企業を対象とした綿密な一次調査とそれを補完する広範な二次調査に基づいています。セルフレジソリューションの出荷台数は北米が最も多く、前年比で45%増加しています。RBRによると当ソリューションの採用は引き続き拡大すると見られ、特に新興国がその成長に大きく寄与するとしています。

RBRの調査によれば、NCRは電子POS(EPOS)の世界市場でもシェアを伸ばしています。また同市場の成長率は8%でしたが、NCRの出荷台数は11%増加しています。
