日本NCR株式会社（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長兼CEO：諸星俊男、以下 日本NCR）は、本日、米オフィス家具大手のスチールケース社と販売契約を締結し、同社のテクノロジープロダクツの「ルームウィザードⅡ（RoomWizardⅡ）」ならびに「メディア・スケープ（media:scape）」の販売、サポートおよびサービスを開始することを発表します。
日本NCRは、今回の販売契約締結により、オフィス機器ソリューションの販売を開始し、スチールケース社の顧客にスムーズなオフィス機器の導入や継続的なサポートを提供します。
ルームウィザードⅡは、ウェブベースの会議室予約システムで、会議室前に設置するタッチパネル式ディスプレイが、使用者、使用時間、空き時間などを表示することにより会議室予約をより効率的にコントロールすることが可能なツールです。マイクロソフト社のOutlookやLotus Notesなどのカレンダーと同期モードで使用でき、パソコン、スマートフォンなどのデバイスで、どこからでも空室状況の確認や予約、変更が可能です。
メディア・スケープは、配線機器一体型オフィステーブルシステムです。ネットワークを用い、会議におけるメンバー間の情報共有（コミュニケーション）を円滑にし、また高精細（HD）ビデオ会議システムを装備することで、異なるエリア間での効果的なコミュニケーションを可能にします。
日本NCRは、オフィス機器の販売・サポートで蓄積したノウハウをいかし、当製品の販売拡大を目指します。
NCRのテレコム テクノロジー ビジネスは、ユニファイドコミュニケーション、ビデオ、音声、および、ワイヤレス技術のソリューションの設計から継続的なメンテナンスと管理までを一貫してサポートするために、主要な通信会社やテクノロジープロバイダーと提携しています。
