NCRコーポレーション（NYSE：NCR）は、米国の大手データ分析会社エムシャン（Emcien）のデータ分析プラットフォームがNCRリテールソリューションに統合されたと発表しました。これにより、リテーラーが相当量のビッグデータを瞬時に分析し、消費者のお買い物をより良い、よりパーソナルな体験にすることが可能になります。
エムシャンの自動データ分析は、高度なビッグデータ分析機能で様々なNCRのリテールソリューションをサポートします。今回の統合により、 NCRは、世界中のリテール分野でエムシャンのソフトウェアを提供することが可能になります。NCR リコメンデーションエンジンに装備された新機能、予測分析と商品推薦機能を用いることにより、NCRのロイヤリティ及びマーケティングソリューションをより包括的なものにします。

現在、エムシャンは、さまざまな業種にパターン検出ソフトウェアを使う顧客を有しており、NCRはこのソフトウェアを社内で2年ほど使用してきました。このソフトウェアは言語非依存で、世界中で広まりつつあります。この提携により、NCRは、エムシャンのソフトウェアを装備したNCR リコメンデーションエンジンを独立したサービスや、既存のNCR顧客エンゲージメント、およびマーケティングソリューションと統合させた形で販売することが可能になります。
