日本NCR株式会社（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長兼CEO：諸星俊男、以下日本NCR）は、新コンセプトのPOSターミナルNCR RealPOS XR7（リアルポス エックスアールセブン）を発表しました。当製品は、タブレット端末が持つ高いデザイン・操作性と、POSハードウェアに必要とされる拡張性・堅牢性を併せ持った次世代POSターミナルです。
NCR RealPOS XR7はベゼルレスのディスプレイ一体型筐体をベースに、10点マルチタッチ投影型静電容量方式タッチパネル、内蔵CCDカメラ、Bluetooth機能付き無線LANアダプターといった先進的なオプション機能をサポートしています。
一方でPOSターミナルに必要とされる電源供給可能なUSBポートやシリアルポートの拡張性、SSD（Solid State Disk）やRAID構成による信頼性、実店舗環境を考慮した防塵・防滴といった堅牢性をも兼ね備えています。
NCRが推進しているオムニチャネル新時代の先進的なサービスの提供をになう端末として、NCR RealPOS XR7は、その卓越した機能を如何なく発揮します。
