日本NCR株式会社（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長：ミハエル・バイエル、以下日本NCR）は、操作性と信頼性の向上を図った、高性能でコンパクトな一体型POSターミナル「NCR RealPOS™ 23（エヌシーアール・リアルポス23）リリース2」を発売します。
レシートプリンターやディスプレイ等の主要な周辺機器をベースボディに組み込んだコンパクトな一体型のPOS端末である「NCR RealPOS23」は、2011年に発表以来、百貨店をはじめ、専門店や量販店等の幅広い小売業のお客様からその優れた基本性能で高い評価をうけております。
今回の「RealPOS 23リリース2」では、従来からの特長である操作性と信頼性の向上を図るとともに、基本性能の更なる向上と筐体デザインの一部を改良しました。
– Intel Celeron G1610 T 2.3GHzを搭載し、標準メモリーを2GBに拡張
– 内蔵プリンターをユーザー自身でプリンターユニットを交換出来るように設計変更し、メンテナンス性を向上
– Windows Embedded POSReady 7（32bit版）をサポート
– オペレーター・ディスプレイの高さを柔軟に変更できるアダプターをオプションリリース
– ディスプレイ内蔵ステレオスピーカーからのオーディオ出力
「NCR RealPOS23」は、レシートロール交換が容易な前面用紙交換機構を備えた高速プリンター、視認性、耐久性に優れたオペレーター・ディスプレイ、LCDタイプのカスタマー・ディスプレイ等を容易に追加できる高い拡張性など、販売員の業務効率向上に注力して開発されています。
また、停電時にも取引操作が可能な大容量の内蔵UPSを標準装備するなど、買物客に対するサービスの継続を支援する基本機能に関しても強化しました。
