日本NCR株式会社（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長：内藤 眞、以下日本NCR）は、世界でシェアNo.1のセルフレジシリーズに、省スペースかつ高い拡張性を実現した「NCR セルフレジ スリム」を新たに追加します。
NCRは、レジ待ち時間の短縮と店舗オペレーションの効率化を目的としたセルフレジを2003年に日本国内で初めて発売し、以後10年以上にわたりお客様の声をもとに操作性・信頼性・拡張性の向上や製品のコンパクト化などの改良を重ね、開発当初より国内外ともにセルフレジのシェアNo.1の実績を築いています。
今回新たに追加する「NCR セルフレジ スリム」は、一体型でコンパクトな最新セルフレジ「NCR SelfServ90」を本体に採用しました。オプションの現金モジュールはセルフレジ専用に設計し、専用筐体に組み込むことで、操作性の向上と省スペース化を実現しました。セルフレジの設置が難しいコンビニエンスストアや生活雑貨店、駅前・駅ナカ店等の少量のお買物が多い店舗・売場のセルフレジとして、また、カード支払い専用のセルフレジとしても活用できます。
また、セルフレジ用APIであるAI(Automation Interface)テクノロジーにより、既存のPOSシステムに容易に追加することができ、また、モバイルPOSをはじめとした様々なソリューションとの連携が可能となります。
