NCR RealPOS XR5の防塵防滴対応された筐体は、アルミダイキャストのシャシーをベースに、タッチ位置調整不要で汚れや傷に強く耐久性に優れた投影式静電容量方式タッチパネル、長寿命のLEDバックライト、耐障害性に優れたSSD（Solid State Disk）を装備し、業務端末として必要とされる高い堅牢性を有しています。
