日本NCR株式会社（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長：内藤 眞、以下日本NCR）は、新たなショッピング体験ソリューションとして「NCR Fastlane モバイルショッパー（ファストレーン モバイルショッパー）」（以下モバイルショッパー）を発表しました。
NCRはこれまで小売業における歴史的な変革をリードしてきました。現在、NCRは新たな時代の実店舗のあり方を実現するストア・トランスフォーメーションを提案しています。モバイルショッパーは、このストア・トランスフォーメーションを実現する革新的なショッピングソリューションです。消費者は、自身のスマートフォン、または店舗設置の専用スキャナーを使って、商品を棚から取り出したそのタイミングで自身で商品登録（スキャニング）を行います。販売員による商品登録（スキャニング）が必要なくなることで、レジカゴからの詰め替え時間も削減できます。お支払い処理は、レジを利用せずにそのままショッピングを終えられるオンラインでの決済、または店舗設置のレジ、セルフレジで行うことができます。さらにモバイルショッパーでは、消費者の趣味・嗜好に合わせたプロモーション情報の送信、ショッピングリストや商品情報を商品登録時に参照できるため、消費者に新たなショッピング体験を提供すると共に、店舗ではお支払い処理に掛かる作業を軽減することができます。
「モバイルショッパー」の主な特徴は、以下のとおりです。
- レジ待ち時間の短縮、レジ待ち不要
- チェックアウト処理にかかる時間の削減（商品登録、お支払い処理）
- 値引・割引情報、クーポンの取得
- 商品の売場検索
- 商品情報の取得
- 購買履歴、レシート情報の検索
- お買い物リストとの連携
将来には店舗から提供するデータ連携だけではなく、各種アプリケーションと連携することによって、買い置き情報、各種レシピ情報、購買傾向に基づいたショッピングリストの自動生成も可能となり、さらに強力で優れた顧客サービスを創造します。
モバイルショッパーは、近未来型ショッピング体験の礎となります。
提供開始時期
「NCR Fastlane モバイルショッパー」は、来春（2018年1月～3月）に提供開始予定です。
