日本NCR株式会社（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長：内藤 眞、以下日本NCR）は、一体型POSレジ端末NCR RealPOS XR7J （エヌシーアール リアルポス エックスアールセブンジェイ）を発表しました。この新製品は、タブレット端末が持つデザイン・操作性と、POSレジ端末に必要とされる拡張性・堅牢性を併せ持った次世代POSレジ端末です。
NCR RealPOS XR7Jは、ベゼルレスのタッチパネル一体型端末であるRealPOS XR7をベースに、無線LANアダプター、無停電電源供給装置（UPS）、POSプリンターを一体化し、設置場所を選ばないコンパクトなデザインを実現しています。さらにUSBポートやシリアルポートの拡張性、SSD（Solid State Disk）、防塵・防滴といったPOSに必要とされる堅牢性を備えています。
NCRが推進するストア・トランスフォーメーションにおける革新的な購買体験を実現するチェックアウトシステムの中心的端末として、またタブレット端末と同じ操作性をもつ先進的なPOS端末として、RealPOS XR7Jはその機能を如何なく発揮します。
