NCR コーポレーション（NYSE: NCR）とGoogle Cloudは、世界中の小売業者が新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡大、労働力不足、サプライチェーンの問題、消費者の期待の高まりなどの影響を受けている中で、これらの課題解決の支援を行うための提携を発表しました。今回の戦略的パートナーシップの拡大により、 NCRとGoogle CloudはAIや機械学習ソリューションを含むプラットフォームとクラウド機能を世界中の小売業者に提供し、消費者に卓越した購買体験を提供するためのクラス最高のツールと比類のない柔軟性へのアクセスを可能にします。
NCR Commerce Platformは、NCRのソフトウェアソリューションを統合したもので、小売業者はGoogle CloudのApigee™で利用可能なAPI（Application Programming Interface）を通じて、エンドツーエンドで簡単に店舗を運営することができます。今回のパートナーシップ契約により、NCRはNCR Commerce Platformと小売業向けソフトウェアポートフォリオをGoogle Cloud上に拡張し、高度にパーソナライズされたショッピング体験を提供するために小売業者が必要とする柔軟なテクノロジーを構築します。
