日本NCR株式会社（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長：小原 琢哉、以下日本NCR）は、株式会社琉球銀行(本店：沖縄県那覇市久茂地1丁目11番1号、取締役頭取：川上 康、以下琉球銀行）が、日本NCR製 汎用高速スキャナーiTRAN Image Trac (アイトランイメージトラック)の導入により、事務集中業務の効率化を実現したことを発表しました。
琉球銀行は沖縄県を中心に本支店61か所、出張所15か所の店舗を持ち、為替や口座振替、税公金などのバックオフィス業務は、事務集中部門が行います。2018年12月、この事務集中部に日本NCRの汎用高速スキャナー iTRAN Image Tracは税公金を中心とした事務集中業務の効率化とカバー率の拡大を目的として導入されました。 iTRAN Image Tracはあらゆる帳票スキャニング基盤として活用が可能なため、既存の事務集中システムとスムーズに連携し、エントリー共有化を実現してきました。
また、iTRAN Image Tracによりこれまで紙で運用していた膨大な伝票のスキャンを行い、全店からの照会がオンラインで可能となりました。
