NCR y Multiverse ganaron el La mejor iniciativa de carreras tempranas de 2022 categoría en los premios de contratación interna del Reino Unido. Este reconocimiento honra a las empresas que brindan oportunidades únicas y útiles al inicio de su carrera profesional a sus nuevos empleados.
NCR Professional Services vio la oportunidad de crear una cohorte diversa de talentos prometedores al inicio de su carrera y capacitarlos en las habilidades del futuro a través de un programa de aprendizaje. El equipo se fijó el objetivo de que la mitad de las personas contratadas por el equipo de PS del Reino Unido al principio de su carrera fueran aprendices.
Para ello, el equipo de PS diseñó y puso en marcha un programa de aprendizaje de tres años para científicos de datos y un programa de 18 meses para consultores empresariales. A continuación, llevaron a cabo una campaña de contratación para contratar a 50 aprendices. Se pusieron en contacto con Multiverse, una empresa emergente de tecnología que ofrece programas de aprendizaje de alta calidad que combinan el trabajo, la formación y la comunidad, y les ayudan a hacer realidad su idea. Juntos, Multiverse y NCR PS lanzaron el programa en tres meses.
Patrick Gormley, vicepresidente de datos e inteligencia artificial de NCR Professional Services, dijo: «Estos jóvenes son impresionantes y están muy motivados. Estoy impresionado con la calidad del programa que el equipo pudo lanzar en tan poco tiempo y espero ver los resultados de esta cohorte de talentos de la próxima generación. El proceso de selección y evaluación ayudó a cada equipo que contrató a un aprendiz a encontrar candidatos excelentes con el potencial de crecer».
