What to Know Before Attending

I. Registration.
- All information provided during registration must be accurate and complete.
- Payment of the applicable registration fee is required to attend the Event. All fees are non-refundable except as specified in the Cancellation and Refund Policy herein below.
- Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment and a confirmation email from NCRV or a third party acting on behalf of NCRV.
II. Cancellation and Refund Policy.
- NCRV reserves the right to cancel the Event due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee, which shall be NCRV’s sole and exclusive liability to you.
- Force Majeure: No refunds will be given for cancellations due to events outside the control of NCRV, acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, public health emergencies, or any other unforeseen event such as cancellation of the Event by the hotel or venue where it is scheduled to be held.

III. Event Conduct Policy.
This policy aims to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants at Events. NCRV is committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. This policy applies to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, organizers, and volunteers participating in the event, whether itis held in person, virtually, or through any other means.
(a) Expected Behavior
- Respect: Treat everyone and their opinions with respect and consideration.
- Integrity: Act with integrity and honesty, ensuring all interactions are ethical and responsible.
- Professionalism: Maintain professional conduct and dress appropriately for the Event setting.
- Inclusivity: Promote an inclusive environment by being aware of and respectful towards differences and varying opinions.
- Safety: Prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants.
(b) Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behavior shall include but is not limited to the following:
- Harassment: Harassment, including offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or technology choices, as well as deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
- Disruption: Disruption of Events and related activities.
- Inappropriate Contact: Unwanted physical contact or sexual attention.
- Threats: Threatening or aggressive behavior, including online bullying or abuse.
- Illegal Activities: Any illegal activity, including but not limited to the use of illegal substances, theft, or vandalism.
(c) Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
- Warning: Participants may be warned to cease unacceptable behavior.
- Expulsion: Participants may be expelled from the event without liability (including without refunds).
- Banning: Participants may be banned from attending future events.
- Legal Action: Illegal activities will be reported to the appropriate authorities and may result in legal action.
IV. Recording and Photography
By participating in the conference, you consent to the capture and use of your likeness and voice in photographs, videos, and audio recordings taken during the Event. This consent includes, without limitation, the right for NCRV, its affiliates, and authorized third parties to use such images, sounds, and recordings for promotional, commercial, informational, or any other purposes in any and all media, now known or hereafter developed, without further permission or compensation. You unconditionally release the NCRV, its officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability connected with the capture, use, or distribution of such photographs, videos, and audio recordings.
V. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in materials distributed or presented at the Event are owned by the NCRV or the presenters. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without prior written permission, which may be refused by NCRV at its sole option and discretion.
VI. Privacy
In order to accommodate participants at our events, NCRV needs to process the personal information we request on the registration page. NCRV will use this information to identify you during the check-in process as well as to identify you at the Event. Additionally, NCRV may share your personal data with third parties that we have engaged to support the Event, such as hotels, travel agencies, printers, and other similar vendors. NCRV will share your personal information only with third parties that have agreed to protect your personal information, and only to the extent such third parties need that information in order for NCRV to host the Event.

VII. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NCRV, including its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates, will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any other damages of any kind, arising out of or related to your participation in the Event, including but not limited to:
- Personal Injury or Property Damage: Any injury or damage to your person or property resulting from attending the Event.
- Loss of Goods: Any loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during the Event.
- Travel and Accommodation: Any costs or expenses incurred for travel, accommodation, or other arrangements made in connection with attending the Event.
- Event Disruptions: Any delays, interruptions, or cancellations of the Event due to circumstances beyond the control of NCRV, such as acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, public health emergencies, or any other unforeseen event such as cancellation of the Event by the hotel or venue where it is scheduled to be held.
- Content Use: Any loss or damage arising from the use of materials or information presented at the Event, whether provided by NCRV or third-party presenters.
- Technical Issues: Any issues related to technology, including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorized access, or data breaches affecting your participation in the Event.
By registering for the Event, you acknowledge and agree that your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the Event or any related services is to discontinue participation. This limitation of liability clause applies to the fullest extent permitted by law. If any portion of this clause is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
VIII. Amendments
NCRV reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered participants via email or by posting of the revised Terms on the Event website. Continued participation in the Event constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
IX. Governing Law
New York law governs these Terms, without reference to principles of conflict of laws. In event of any claim related to these Terms, either party may bring legal action only (i) in the Georgia Statewide Business Court located in Atlanta, GA (USA), or (ii) if the claim does not qualify to be heard in that court for any reason, in the state or federal courts in Fulton Co., GA, USA, and each party irrevocably consents, and waives any right to object, to jurisdiction and venue therein.
By registering for and participating in the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
X. Additional Terms for Sponsors
A participant who has agreed to participate in the Event as a sponsor and has signed a separate sponsorship contract (“Sponsorship Contract”) with NCRV (“Sponsor”) shall be bound by terms of the Sponsorship Contract and the Terms in its participation in the Event. Only with respect toa Sponsor, in the event of a conflict between the terms of the Sponsorship Contract and the Terms, the terms of the Sponsorship Contract shall prevail and apply.
